Oswald III, Frederick Joseph Plano, Texas/Whitefish Bay, Wisconsin - Frederick Joseph Oswald III, 67, died on January 9, 2017, after many years of illness. He was born on May 24, 1949, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Fred graduated from Dominican High School in 1967 and received his bachelor's and master's degrees in finance at UW-Madison. He married Sandra Sutton July 8, 1978. They had three children: Freddy IV, Bobby, and Shelly. Fred worked at Eppier Guerin and Turner in Dallas. He loved watching sports, including his hometown teams: the Green Bay Packers, Milwaukee Brewers, and Wisconsin Badgers. He also grew to appreciate the Texas Rangers, Dallas Mavericks, and the Cowboys (when not playing the Packers). He was an avid softball player and winner of many trophies recognizing his athletic accomplishments. Fred was a jokester, known for his fun-loving spirit. He christened those closest to him with affectionate nicknames. He is remembered by his wife Sandra, his sons Freddy IV and Bobby, his daughter Shelly, and his grandchildren Bentley and Ocean of Plano, his sisters Rosemary Oswald O'Connor of Mequon, Wisconsin and Carol (Mike) McMorrow of Oconomowoc, Wisconsin, nephews Daniel (Christina) O'Connor, Will (Alyssa) O'Connor, and Andrew (Ashley) O'Connor, Mike McMorrow, and Jordan McMorrow, and niece Mo (MB) O'Connor. His family and friends miss his love, generosity, and playful sense of humor. They are grateful for the many adventures and experiences they were fortunate enough to have with him. Fred was preceded in death by his parents, Dr. Frederick Oswald II and Juliarose Oswald. Family would like to thank the caring staff at The Park, Heritage Manor, Doctor's Hospice, and St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church in Plano.
