Freda Fern DurantZANESVILLE: Freda Fern Durant, 81, of Zanesville, passed away Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at her home surrounded by family.She was born on June 27, 1931 the daughter of the late Herbert and Nora (Havens) Mautz. She was a homemaker and a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church. Surviving are her beloved husband Floyd Russell Durant; a son Raymond (Indea) Durant; a daughter Barbara Durant; a brother Paul (Ann) Mautz; a sister Faye Dunn; two grandchildren Tracy Krumbine and Keith (Alane) Krumbine; two great-grandchildren Anya Krumbine and Keira Krumbine. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son David Durant and a brother-in-law Fred Dunn. Friends and family may call from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at William Thompson & Son Funeral Home 5765 Gladstone Drive White Cottage. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at the funeral home. Rev. Mark Matzke officiating. Freda will be laid to rest in Zanesville Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Genesis Hospice and Palliative Care.
