We are saddened to announce the passing of Franklin Calcatera, who left us on June 8th, 2024 in Greenville, Texas. Born on May 8th, 1955 to John and Mary Calcatera, Franklin was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather.

Franklin married his high school sweetheart, Mary, in 1978 and they had three wonderful children together. Luke, Sarah, and Tara were the lights of Franklin's life, along with their spouses and six adoring grandchildren.

Franklin was a proud graduate of Greenville High School in 1973 and went on to complete his studies at Texas A & M in 1978. He was a dedicated member of the Lions Club organization and enjoyed giving back to his community.

In his free time, Franklin pursued his passion for woodworking and stain glass projects. His craftsmanship was always impeccable, and he brought joy to others with his creations.

Franklin will be remembered for his warm smile, hearty laugh, and unwavering love for his family. He touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
