Vogel, Frank V.Frank V. Vogel, 86, Denmark passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, September 18, 2013. Frank was born on September 14, 1927 in Manitowoc, the son of the now late Frank Sr. and Rose (Schuh) Vogel. He was educated at St. Michael's Catholic Grade School, Whitelaw and graduated from Lincoln High School in Manitowoc with the class of 1945. Frank worked for the Chicago Northwestern Railroad and the Invincible Metal Company in Manitowoc. In September of 1953 he purchased a Dairy Farm in New Denmark. On May 8, 1954 he married the former Marion Bergene at St. Francis Xavier Cathedral in Green Bay. They were blessed with five children. Frank was a faithful, devout and active member of Holy Trinity Parish, Pine Grove, now (Prince of Peace Parish). He was church trustee for many years, a lay distributor, a member of the Holy Name Society and the Knights of Columbus.Frank is survived by his loving wife Marion, 1 daughter and son-in-law Lorrie (Larry) Leiterman, Green Bay; 4 sons and daughters-in-law Gregg (Janet) Vogel, White Bear Lake, MN; Gary (Leonor) Vogel, Green Bay; Kent (Lisa) Vogel, Fergus Falls, MN; Kevin (Katrina) Vogel, Denmark; 8 grandchildren Jennie, Jeffrey, Gregg Michael, Marissa, Keianna, Hayden, Klein, Kessler, 1 great-grandson Zane Austin, 1 sister Mary Ann Zipperer, 2 brothers and 3 sisters-in-law Marcellus (JoAnn) Vogel and Conrad (Betty) Vogel, Lorraine Vogel, 3 brothers-in-law Dale Bergene, Bob (Char) Bergene, Roger Bergene. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.He was preceded in death by 1 granddaughter Alexandra Leiterman, 2 sisters and 3 brothers-in-law Genrose (Walter) Krippner, Cecelia (Clarence) Doleysh and Victor Zipperer, 4 brothers and 2 sisters-in-law Raymond (Helen) Vogel, Hillary "Larry" (Neva) Vogel, Stanley Vogel and Marcus Vogel, his mother and father-in-law Edward and Clara Bergene, 1 sister-in-law Janice Bergene. In accordance with Frank's wishes private services will be held for the immediate family at Prince of Peace Catholic Church with Rev. Dan Viertel officiating.
