Frank Eugene CoburnJanuary 19, 1949 - November 02, 2017VisaliaFrank Eugene Coburn was born on January 19, 1949 in Visalia, CA to Edward and Ruby Coburn, Sr. He passed away on November 2, 2017 in Visalia, CA.Frank was a lifelong resident of Visalia. He attended Veva Blunt and Elbow Creek Elementary Schools and graduated from Redwood High School in 1967.He met his wife Hazel Wilson on the first day of high school in 1964, they were married in December of 1969 when he returned home from Vietnam. They spent the next 3 years in The Canal Zone Panama where both of their children were born, James in March of '71 and Claudette in December of '72. He was stationed at various Army Posts until he decided it was time to come home in 1978.Frank was preceded in death by his mother Ruby Coburn, his brother Edward Coburn, Jr., and his father Edward Coburn, Sr.He is survived by his beloved wife of 47 years, Hazel; his son, James of Ivanhoe; his daughter, Claudette of Florida; 2 grandsons, Dale Wood of Florida, Stephen Fishman of Nevada; one granddaughter, Brooke Lynn Fishman of Nevada; 2 great-granddaughters, Evangeline and Andrea of Florida; his uncle, Steve Turner of Alaska, and many cousins, nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, November 16, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Miller Memorial Chapel, 1120 W.
