Frank Densmore Frank Densmore passed away peacefully in his home on January 14, 2017 in Olympia, WA. Frank was born on May 28, 1941 in Tacoma, WA. He grew up in Steilacoom and attended Clover Park High School (class of '59). Frank earned a degree in architecture from Washington State University. During his time at WSU, he married his high school sweetheart, Joy Campbell. Together they had three children and eight grandchildren. The memories as a family were made in trips to British Columbia, cheering on the Cougs, attending events at Olympia High School and car trips across the country. The bulk of Frank's career was spent in Olympia at BJSS and Archos. His legacy is seen in buildings throughout the northwest and beyond. His love of architecture and his passion for his work took him all over the world. Frank loved fly fishing, gardening in his greenhouse, pole vaulting, and speaking a variety of languages. He also loved the Cougs! In 2011, Frank married Jane Phipps and they shared many happy times together with their families and friends. The five years they had together were filled with laughter, support and love. Frank is survived by his wife of five years, Jane Densmore, his sister Sally (Bob) and his brother Don (Nancy), his son Charlie (Marnie), daughters Kellie (Sean) and Kristin (Tim) and their families, his stepchildren Carrie, Heidi (Joseph) and Kelly (Julie) and their families. And his cat, Harley. An open house honoring Frank's life will be held Thursday, January 19 at Frank and Jane's home from 3:00 - 6:00 pm.
