Frank Chavez Jr., 64, a liflelong resident of Sena, N.M., passed away at his home on Wednesday Dec. 10, 2014.He was born on Dec. 2, 1950 in Colfax County to the late Frank and Eloisa Chavez. He is preceded in death by brothers, Abel Chavez, Victor Chavez and Agapito Chavez.Frank is survived by one child, Rosita Chavez of Albuquerque; sisters Jane Chavez (Dionicio, deceased) of Sena, Berna Montoya (David) of Española; brother Steve Chavez of Amarillo; grandchildren, great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.Frank was loved by all, always energetic and had a passion for reading novels. He was hardworking and quite a character. He was a blessing to us, will be missed and forever loved.A funeral service for Frank will be held today (Monday) at El Valle de Cristo Church in El Coruco.
