Reverend Frank Anthony Russo Jr. was born on November 3, 1947 in Queens, New York. He was the eldest child of Frank and Emily Russo who proceeded him in death.

Survived by his brothers Michael Russo (Mary Ann) and John Russo, his sisters Marie Berkovich (Mark), Anne Cardera (Rich), and Diane Portanova (Armando). His nieces and nephews David, Julia, Andrew, Kim, Eric, Benjamin, Charlotte, Brooklyn, Christopher, Kelly, Quinn, Lindsey, Tim, John Jr. (JJ), Tyler, Emily.Fr. Frank was ordained to the priesthood on June 6, 1981 and served the Diocese of Los Angeles for 33 years. His first assignment was at St Elizabeth Anne Seton in Rowland Heights. In his service to our Lord he was assigned to St Francis of Rome, Azuza, Our Lady of Assumption, Claremont, St John Newman, Santa Maria, St Christopher, West Covina and St Pancratius, Lakewood. During this time he made many friends with whom he shared his friendship and love.

After a short critical illness of six weeks he passed away peacefully on January 18, 2015 with his sister Marie and brother-law Mark by his side. Please don't grieve for him because he is with the Father in Heaven receiving his just rewards and free from his pain. He will be remembered by all of us that he left behind.

The family would like to thank the staff of the "ICU" of Los Robles Hospital for the professionalism and compassion they showed our dear brother.

The visitation will be at Santa Clara Mortuary 2370 North "H" St. Oxnard, CA on January 28, 2015 from 5:30 - 7:00 with the Rosary 7:00 - 8:00 PM. The mass of a Christian Burial will be at Padre Serra, Camarillo at 11:00 AM on January 29, 2015.
