Frank Rivers, a beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather, and friend, passed away on October 7, 2023, at the age of 70. Born on December 8, 1952, in the vibrant Bronx, New York, Frank brought joy and laughter to those around him throughout his colorful life.

The son of Elias Walter Rivers and Louise Rivers, Frank grew up in a loving household. He leaves behind 3 siblings Barbara Rivers-Knight, Carol Rivers- George and Voza Rivers. Living in that household instilled in him the values of kindness, resilience, and a good sense of humor. He carried those qualities with him throughout his journey, leaving a lasting impact on everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Frank found his lifelong partner in the enchanting Fredericka Rivers, with whom he shared 35 joyful years of marriage. Through thick and thin, they were a team, raising two exceptional children, Franklin Rivers and Frank Rivers Jr., who brought immense pride and joy to them.

As a doting grandfather, Frank cherished every moment spent with his five grandchildren. Their laughter and playful antics brought a sparkle to his eyes and filled his heart with boundless happiness.

Frank pursued education at Forest Hill High School, where he completed his studies with flying colors, graduating in the class of 1969. He then continued his academic journey at BMCC, where he further expanded his knowledge and honed his skills.

During his professional career, Frank proudly served in the Air Force, contributing to the protection and well-being of his fellow citizens. His commitment and dedication to duty earned him the respect and admiration of his colleagues, leaving a lasting impression on all who served alongside him. Still serving and giving back to the community as a supervisor of NYCHA Housing.

Despite life's challenges, Frank always wore a smile on his face, brightening even the gloomiest of days. He had a way of lightening the mood with his quick wit and infectious laughter, reminding us to find joy even in the smallest moments.

On October 7, 2023, Frank's battle with Cancer of the Liver ended, and he embarked on his next adventure, leaving behind countless memories and a legacy of love. He will forever be remembered for his jovial spirit, unwavering love for his family, and his ability to bring happiness to all those lucky enough to cross his path.
