Frances GallowayClyde, TXFrances Galloway 92, of Clyde, Texas formerly from Abilene, passed away Tuesday, May 30, 2017. Frances wishes were to be donated to the Texas Tech School of Medicine. A memorial service will be held at a later date.Frances was born on October 8, 1924 to Joe and Sarah Pierce. She was raised in and graduated from Cross Plains High School in 1942. She moved to Clyde to in May of 2016 to live with her daughter Gay and son-in-law Greg. She loved to play bridge, poker and dominos. Preceded in death by her parents; husband Ray Galloway in 1973, daughter, Kathy Wallace in 1995, brothers; J.C. Pierce, Stanley Pierce, Doke Pierce, Granuel Pierce, sister; Adell Blakely. Survivors include daughters; Gay and Greg Bradley of Clyde, Rita Baker and companion Jim Coverntry of Snyder, grandson Chris Winn of Abilene, and granddaughter Sara Winn of Abilene.The family would like to give a special thanks to the Hospice of the Big Country and to Dr. Dawson and his nurses and aides for the care shown to Mrs. GallowayIn lieu of flowers make donations to the or to Hospice of the Big Country in Frances memory.
