It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Frances Adams on March 12, 2025, in Norfolk, Virginia. Frances was born on December 12, 1927, and was a beloved member of the community.

Frances leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness. She raised three children, Debra A. Clary, William J. Adams Jr. (spouse Cathy Crawford), and Diane A. Herring (spouse Andrew). She was also blessed with 11 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter.

Frances dedicated many years of her life to serving others. She worked at Norfolk Naval Air Station and retired in 1982. She was also actively involved in the Burrows Memorial Baptist Church organization, where she found great joy in helping others and spreading the message of faith.

In her free time, Frances enjoyed spending time at church and participating in various church activities. She was a devoted member of her congregation and knew the importance of community and faith.

Frances will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Her warm smile, loving heart, and generous spirit will be remembered fondly by those whose lives she touched. May she rest in peace.
