Filbert Elonge, 28, passed on January 27, 2022. Filbert was born on December 25, 1993. Filbert was born to Emmy Ogwal and Saria Tafala. Brother to Dennis, Vicky, and Leah Elonge; father to Amina Elonge. He was immersed with the love that he had for his family and would do anything for them. He was a friend to many, and his smile would light up the room as well as his contagious laugh. He was a provider and protector towards anyone he loved and did whatever necessary to ensure everyone was taken care of.

Growing up he wanted to be a basketball player and earned himself a name during his middle school and high school years. He was always determined and persistent with anything he put his mind to as well as pushed everyone around him to be a better version of themselves. His daughter was his number one motivator and the unconditional love he had for her pushed him to want to be a better man. No matter what path he decided to embark on, he always made sure to put all his effort into making it successful. 

God gives and he takes, we're grateful that he gave us the opportunity to have connected with such a beautiful soul. Let's take this time to celebrate Filbert's life and glorify God because he makes no mistakes. Keep our family in prayers during this trying time and we pray for God's strength and comfort for us all who had a relationship with Filbert. To our son, brother, father, and friend till we meet again, rest in Heavenly peace. Amen.
