Felipe was a cherished father, devoted husband, and a loyal friend. He was a pillar of strength, wisdom, and kindness, and his absence leaves a void that can never be filled.

Felipe was born in Chicago, Illinois, where he spent his entire life. He was proud to call this vibrant city his home and embraced its diversity and rich culture. Throughout his life, Felipe exemplified the values of compassion, generosity, and hard work, leaving a lasting impact on all those who had the privilege of knowing him.

Felipe's professional journey was both remarkable and inspiring. Graduating from the esteemed University of Chicago, he pursued a career in finance. With his sharp intellect and analytical skills, he rose through the ranks to become a respected figure in the industry. Felipe's dedication and expertise allowed him to make significant contributions to numerous financial institutions, where he established a reputation for excellence.

Despite his professional success, Felipe always placed his family at the forefront of his life. He met the love of his life, Maria Soto, during his time in college, and they went on to share a beautiful journey together. Felipe’s wife Delores Soto proceeded him in death, but is survived by his children Carmelita, Bonita, Maria, Draina, Mario, Felipe Jr., and Carlos and his grandchildren Mario Jr., Chanta, Saka, Rasheed, Chino, Yentel, Arshana, Kenya, Kemille, and Kwory, who adored him. His memory will forever be cherished by his family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made to the charities Felipe held closest to his heart, as a testament to his lifelong commitment to helping others.
