Harlingen, TX - Felipa P. Garcia, 75, entered into eternal peace on Monday, November 7, 2016, surrounded by her loving family at her residence in Harlingen, Texas. She was born on May 6, 1941 in San Luis Potosí, Mexico to Maximanio and Andrea Palomo.Felipa adored her husband, children, and grandchildren and always put others before herself. She worked as a waitress for over 50 years and developed a love and compassion for her customers, the last 20 years at Golden Corral in Harlingen.Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 45 years, Vel G. Vera; her children, Yolanda Palomo, Andreina "Andie" Torres (Hugo), Delia Noemi Moreno (Emilio), Velma Vera Lopez, David Palomo (Jamie), Edgardo O. Garcia (Elva), Yolanda G. Lopez, Vel Garcia Jr. (Michelle), Dora De La Rosa (Greg Young), Josie O. Lucio, and Gloria Waldron (Donald); 22 grandchildren; brother, Perfeto Palomo; sisters, Amalia Palomo, Anaciana Palomo, Florencia Palomo, and Maria Palomo; Familia Política, Brenda Cavazos, Robert Perez Jr., Estela Castro, and Robert Omar Lopez.Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 8, 2016, from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Wednesday, November 9, 2016, from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a prayer service at 7 p.m.Funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 10, 2016, at 10 a.m. at El Buen Samaritano in Harlingen. Interment will follow to Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.The family would like to give a special thanks to Rev.
