Fay L. Schaal1932 - 2013Fay L. Schaal, 80, of Lake Geneva, Wis., died Saturday evening March 9, 2013 at the Artisan Senior Living in Lake Geneva.The former Fay Lorraine Lane was born on June 15, 1932 in Chicago, Ill., the daughter of the late Carl and Ingelbirth Johnson Lane. On Sept. 27, 1952, in Slades Corners, Wis., she was united in marriage to Willis Schaal. He preceded her in death on Aug. 1, 1976. She lived in Wheatland Township before moving to Lake Geneva.Fay attended St. Johns Ev. Lutheran Church in Slades Corners. She attended Nursing School and formerly worked as a lab tech at the Memorial Hospital of Burlington. She also was in charge of the Radiology Department at Burlington. She enjoyed gardening and crafts.Fay is survived by one son, Rodney (Lisa) Schaal of Powers Lake, Wis.; one daughter, Lorrie Schaal of Tuscon, Ariz.; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one sister, Delores Saxe of Woodbridge, Va.; two brothers, Ray Lane of Florida and Wesley Lane of Elkhorn, Wis.She was preceded in death by one son, Guy Schaal.A Memorial Service will be held on June 15, 2013, at 11 a.m. at the Haase-Lockwood and Assoc. Funeral Homes and Crematory in Twin Lakes. Inurnment will be in St. Johns Ev. Lutheran Cemetery in Slades Corners. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of Services at the Funeral Home.
