Faustino Hernandez Feb. 15, 1922 - Dec. 1, 2016 Faustino Hernandez was born on February 15, 1922 to Margarito and Soledad Lopez Hernandez in El Paso, Texas. He passed away on December 1, 2016 at the age of 94 in Merced, California. Faustino was a resident of Le Grand, California for 84 years. He took pride in raising and supporting his family. After many years as a nursery man, a county worker, and a cannery worker, Faustino retired.  The family would like to express their appreciation to the staff at La Sierra Care Center for their attentive loving care provided to Faustino during his 6 and a half year stay with them. Faustino is preceded in death by his Wife of 65 years, Adelina Hernandez; parents, Soledad and Margarito Hernandez; daughter, Juanita Hernandez; sons, Salvador and Christopher Hernandez. He is survived by his children, Zozima Ball, Robert Hernandez, Dolores Rodriquez, Faustino Hernandez II and Anthony Hernandez; sister, Rafelia Grandinetti; 19 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. A graveside service will take place Tuesday, December 13 at 1:00pm at Calvary Cemetery in Merced, California.
