Evie Murphy, 75, of Franklin, Virginia, passed on February 19, 2023. Evie was born on November 12, 1947. She was a loving mother, grandmother, an great grandmother.She now joins her father and mother James Jordan and Dorthy Wrenn. Evie was known as " Whop" and enjoyed being with family and friends.

Evie was a devoted member of Saint Luke A.M.E Zion Church of Franklin, VA. She loved attending church and being actively involved there.

Evie was dedicated employee of the Children's Center for over 20 years.

She leaves to cherish her memory forever in their hearts, 6 daughters: Laverne,Felicia,Yolanda,Vicky,Lacontis, and Felicia Fenner and one son Claude Murphy Jr all who reside in Franklin VA. She also has 18 grandchildren, 2 sisters Gladys and Mildred and one brother Robert and a host of great grandchildren and nieces, nephews,cousins and friends
