Kohlman, Evelyn T.Evelyn T. Kohlman, age 95, formerly of 1139 S. 26th Street, Manitowoc, died Monday, December 5, 2016 at Shady Lane Nursing Care Center, Manitowoc.She was born on August 6, 1921 in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Joseph and Stella (Narewski) Leonowicz. Evelyn was a graduate of Manitowoc Lincoln High School, Class of 1939. On May 20, 1944 she married Paul H. Kohlman at St. Isadore Catholic Church, Osman. He preceded her in death on September 26, 2010. Evelyn was employed at Red Owl and St. Mary's Home. She was a former member of the St. Mary Rosary & Altar Society and a currrent member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish.Survivors include one daughter and three sons-in-law: Linda & John Bender, Manitowoc, Douglas Zipperer, Cato, Daniel Franz, Manitowoc; four sons and daughters-in-law: Paul & Catherine Kohlman, Manitowoc, Gerald & Bonnie Kohlman, Oconomowoc, Daniel & Robin Kohlman, Manitowoc, Patrick & Beth Kohlman, Brillion; and a sister: Mary Wellner, Manitowoc. Also surviving are 19 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, soon to be 25. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was also preceded in death by two daughters: Barbara Zipperer, Sara Franz; three brothers and sisters-in-law: Joseph & Theresa Leonowicz, Edward & Alice Leonowicz, Henry & Grace Leonowicz; a brother-in-law: Russell Wellner; two brothers-in-law and their wives: Edmund & Margaret Kohlmann, Victor & Esther Kohlmann and three sisters-in-law and their husbands: Martha & Frank Fictum, Mayme & John Seidl and Elsie & Wilfred Fischer.Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 12, 2016 at St. Francis of Assisi on Marshall (1114 South 21st Street) Manitowoc. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Richard Klingeisen.
