Evelyn S. Weishuhn, age 76, passed away on Wednesday, July 28, 2010, at her home in Oscoda.She was born on Nov. 24, 1933, in Standish to John and Anna Gulvas. Evelyn was a graduate of Standish High School. She loved spending time with her family, bird-watching, playing the accordion, playing slot machines and watching sports. Evelyn is survived by her loving husband, Darl Weishuhn, whom she married on April 18, 1953, in Standish; and her children, Greg (Marlene) of Battle Creek, Henry (Rulene) of Krum, Texas, Edith (Monty) of Valley View, Texas, Shar of Orlando, Fla., and Stefan (Gabi) Stumpf of Germany. She is also survived by her brothers and sisters, Albert (Anna) Gulvas of Centerville, Ohio, Josephine Crawford of Standish and Marcella (Louis) Ruszala of Standish; her sister-in-law, Cleo Gulvas of AuGres; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents, John and Anna Gulvas; her brothers, Tom, Bud, Aloysius, Leonard and Joe; her sisters, Annie, Tressa and Mary; and her son, Kirk.
