Evelyn Marie Hutchins, 76, Holy Cross, passed away Monday, Nov. 7, 2016 at her residence. She was born on Sept. 30, 1940 in Clermont County, Ohio to the late Bill and Beulah Mae Steingruber Naegele.She was preceded in death by: her husband, Kenneth Hutchins (2013); a number of siblings; and a great-grandson, Levi Hutchins.Survivors include: seven daughters, Cathy Willett (R.D.) of New Hope, Tina Hutchins of Boston, Carolyn Reid (Eddie) of Manton, Theresa Hutchins Shuler of Louisville, Kim Brady, Sandra Lynn Taylor (Louis) all of Holy Cross, and Bonnie Jo Burns (Edward) of Clarkson; 37 grandchildren; 48 great-grandchildren; one sister, Frances Cull (Vernon) of Amelia, Ohio; one brother, Joe Naegele of Boynton Beach, Florida; and her caregiver, Pam Mattingly of Holy Cross.A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 10, 2016 at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 59 New Haven Road, Loretto with interment in the church cemetery. Rev. Bryan T. Lamberson will officiate.Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 8 and 2-8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 9, at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto with a prayer service at 7 p.m. Wednesday by Deacon Joseph R. Dant.Her daughters will serve as pallbearers.Mattingly Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
