Evelyn M. LeeperSept. 27, 1917 - Dec. 15, 2016BREMEN - Evelyn M. Leeper, 99, of Bremen, passed away peacefully at 4:20 am Thursday, December 15, 2016, in Signature Health Care of Bremen. Evelyn was born on September 27, 1917, to Jess and Amelia (Berger) Bollenbacher. On December 31, 1938, she married Adam Leeper. He passed away on November 5, 2000. She is survived by daughter, Barbara Berg of Bremen; granddaughter, Audra Berg of Angel Fire, NM; and brother, Lester (Mildred) Bollenbacher of Bremen. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, granddaughter, Melinda Berg Stratton, and sisters, Bernice Myers and Ruth Rohrer, and brothers, Clarence, Norman, and Louis Bollenbacher. Evelyn attended Eager School, Lakeville, and St. Paul's Lutheran School, and was a 1936 graduate of Lakeville High School. She was co-owner of Leeper's Antiques with her husband Adam. For many years, she and her husband were vendors at the Shipshewana Flea Market and various antique shows. She was a lifetime member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Bremen. Her hobbies included attending auctions, sewing, gardening, and cooking. Visitation will be held from 11:00-1:00 pm, Tuesday, December 20, 2016, in St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 605 S. Center St., Bremen. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 pm in the church with burial at Bremen Cemetery.
