Evelyn L. Isley Royer, 87Evelyn L. Isley Royer, 87, of Monticello and formerly of Americus, passed away at White Oak Health Campus in Monticello on Oct. 17, 2016. Evelyn was born on August 22, 1929 in Americus to the late Walter E. and Alice F. (Primmer) Holloway. Evelyn attended Buck Creek Schools. She married Max R. Isley on March 4, 1947 in Lafayette and he preceded her on Oct. 25, 1982. She married her 2nd husband, David Royer and he preceded her in 1992. Evelyn had retired from Duncan Meters after 20 years and then was employed in security at Eli Lilly and retired after 20 years.She was a member of the Delphi American Legion Auxiliary.She enjoyed the outdoors and bird watching. She is survived by her son, Steven Isley and his wife, Kim of Delphi; grandchildren: Stephanie Noether (Adam) of Rossville and David Isley (Erinne) of Valparaiso and 8 great grandchildren. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the 1:00 p.m. funeral service on Thursday, October, 20, 2016 at Davidson Funeral Home, Delphi. Pastor Dan Gottschalk officiating.
