Evelyn Jordan, beloved wife, mother, and caregiver, passed away peacefully on February 10, 2025, in Brooklyn, New York, at the age of 67. Born on January 19, 1958, in Guyana, Evelyn brought warmth, strength, and kindness into the lives of everyone she met. She was a devoted wife to her husband, Raymond Jordan, and a loving mother to her son, Tyquan Jordan.

Throughout her life, Evelyn dedicated herself to caring for others, both professionally and personally. As a caregiver, she touched many lives with her compassion and gentle spirit. Outside of her work, she found joy in watching sports and spending quality time with her family, creating memories that will be cherished forever.

A woman of deep faith, Evelyn held close the comforting words of Scripture, especially the verse: “Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me. My Father's house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.”

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Evelyn’s life at her funeral service on February 22, 2025. Though she will be deeply missed, her love, faith, and legacy will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
