Evalyn Hylton, a beloved resident of Siloah, St. Elizabeth, Jamaica, passed away on May 9, 2025, at the ripe old age of 103. She was born on March 4, 1922, and spent her life spreading joy and laughter to all who knew her.

Evalyn was known for her quick wit, infectious smile, and love of dance. She could often be found grooving to the latest reggae tunes, much to the delight of her family and friends. Her energy and enthusiasm were truly unmatched.

Despite her advanced age, Evalyn never lost her sense of humor. She had a knack for making everyone around her laugh, whether with a cheeky joke or a witty remark. Her sharp mind and quick comebacks kept her loved ones on their toes.

Evalyn was a devoted mother to her eight children, who will always cherish the memories of her singing and dancing around the house. Her legacy lives on in her children and grandchildren, who inherited her zest for life and love of laughter.

Evalyn will be greatly missed by all who knew her, but her spirit will live on in the memories she created. Rest in peace, dear Evalyn, and keep dancing in heaven.
