Evadney James, beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on July 1, 2025 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania at the age of 76. She was born on December 27, 1948 to her mother, Edna James.

Evadney leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter through her five children, Claudette, Miguel, Paullette, Alexander, and Jaqueline. She was also a proud grandmother to 21 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Evadney was a graduate of St. James High School and worked at the Old Fort Craft Market, where she shared her creative spirit with those around her.

Known for her infectious smile and warm personality, Evadney will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her passing came suddenly but her memory will live on in the hearts of those she touched.
