AYDEN - Eva G. Jackson, 93, of Ayden, passed away on January 16, 2014. She was born on April 30, 1920, in Pitt County to Will and Corrine Griffin. Eva was a faithful member of Community Baptist Church. She is survived by her son, Frank R. Jackson and wife Paulette, of Havelock; a brother, Willie Lee Griffin of Ayden; grandchildren, David Jackson and wife Meg, of Grifton and Cheryl L. Jackson of New Bern; and one great-grandson, Randall Jackson. Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 20, 2014, at 2 p.m. at Farmer Funeral Service-Ayden. Burial will follow at Evergreen Memorial Estates. The family will receive friends on Sunday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
