Eugenia "Jean" Gottschalk (née Hiser) died peacefully at home on December 14th, in Lutherville, Md, at the age of 98. Jean is survived by her son Mark Gottschalk of Lutherville, daughters Vicky Cooper of Warrensburg New York, Jeanne Street of Houston Texas, and Christine Barlow of Cincinnati Ohio, granddaughters Andie Sage of New York and Emily Duksa of Colorado, grandsons JT Street of Texas and Sam Street of Wisconsin, and two great grandchildren and six nieces. Jean was born on August 15, 1918 in Horsecave Kentucky to Dan and Eula Hiser. She married Dutch Gottschalk in 1942. After moving to Lutherville Jean began working for the Right of Way Department for the state of Maryland and worked there for over twenty years. Friends may call at the family-owned Ruck Towson Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 York Rd (at beltway exit 26) on Sunday from 2-4pm. A funeral Service will be held at the funeral home on Monday 2pm where Pastor Bill Dunning will officiate. Interment at Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens.
