Eugene "Gene" A. Morrison, age 88, of Tabor, passed away at the Tabor Manor on Dec. 8, 2016. Gene was born on June 12, 1928 in Greenfield, to the late Albert and Nora (Vanderpool) Morrison. Gene was united in marriage to Beverly Sue Nichols on March 10, 1949 in Nevinville. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force and later worked as an LPN at the Glenwood Resource Center. He was a proud member of the Glenwood Eagles Club.Gene is survived by his wife; son, John Morrison (Pamela); daughter, Patricia Wheeler; son-in-laws, Craig Williams and Oran Daffron; 13 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and daughters, Norma Williams and Georgia Daffron.Visitation with the family was Sunday, Dec. 11, 2016 at Peterson Mortuary in Glenwood. Memorial services were held at 10 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 12, also at the mortuary.Interment will be held at a later date in Rose Hill Cemetery near Nevinville.Memorials may be directed to the .
