She was born on August 11, 1925 to the late Jasper and Vena Dunn of Columbus, Ohio. She married Lloyd E. Bays on March 28, 1942 and enjoyed 55 years together before his passing in 1998.Surviving are a sister, Jeanette Davis of Columbus, Ohio; 4 sons, Leonard (Mary) Bays of Sycamore, Ohio, Russell (Bonna) Bays of Bucyrus, Ohio, Joseph (Colleen) Bays of Waxahachie, Texas, Dale (Kim) Bays of Lenoir, North Carolina; 6 daughters, Samaria (Dave) Horner of Gilbert, South Carolina, Charlotte (Ken) Denney of Whitney, Texas, Audra (Ken) Lyvers of Purlear, North Carolina, Roxann (Jim) Gerstenslager of Bucyrus, Ohio, Betty (Mark) Willis of Santee, California, Evelyn (Gary) Lane of Geneva, Nebraska, daughter-in-law, Judy (Richard) Bays of Gilbert, South Carolina/ 23 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 4 sisters, Esta, Vica, Charlotte, and Audrey, 2 brothers, Russ and Landon Dunn, 1 son and 3 sons-in-law. She was a homemaker who loved cooking, gardening, and visiting her children who live out of state when she could. Funerals services will be held at a later date.
