Ethel Johnson, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on May 20th, 2023 at the age of 76. Ethel was born on January 1st, 1947, in an Chicago heights in the United States.

Ethel lived a life full of love, kindness, and generosity. As a young woman, she dedicated herself to raising her children and instilling in them the values of hard work and perseverance. Her children remember her as a strong and loving mother who always put their needs first.

Later in life, Ethel devoted herself to her community, volunteering at her church and at local schools. She was always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need, whether it was through offering a listening ear or a hot meal.

Ethel was also an avid gardener, and spent many hours tending to her flowers and vegetables. She had a natural talent for nurturing plants and creating beautiful gardens, and her yard was always a source of joy and beauty for those around her.

Ethel is survived by her three children, jennet ,Samtha and David, and her six grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

In lieu of flowers, Ethel's family asks that donations be made to her favorite charities, including local food banks, animal shelters, and organizations that support the arts and education.

Ethel's memory will live on through the many lives she touched and the kindness she showed to all who knew her. Rest in peace, Ethel. You will be dearly missed.
