Ethel Garriety WrightClarksville, TNEthel Garriety Wright, 96, passed away on Saturday, September 9th at Spring Meadows Healthcare.A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, September 19 at 2:00 p.m. at Greenwood Cemetery with Dr. James R. Hicks officiating. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 19 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home.Mrs. Wright was born on October 17, 1920, in Clarksville, TN. She is survived by three step-children, David Wright (Patricia), Carolyn Patton (Richard), and Marilyn Hicks (James); six step-grandchildren; thirteen step-great grandchildren; and one step-great-great grandchild; and nieces, Carolyn Riggins and Judi Moore (Dennis). She was preceded in death by her parents, James Frank and Joanna Sugg Garriety; husband, Roy D. Wright; sisters, Dorothy Riggins and Frances Sanford; and uncle, O.B. Sugg.Mrs. Wright retired from AT&T as District Chief Clerk with over 40 years service.
