Ethel D. MoranDes MoinesEthel DeLange Moran, 98, passed away, July 2, 2017 at Calvin Community, where she resided. Private services will be held at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.Ethel was born on May 23, 1919 in Highmore, South Dakota, the daughter of C.R. and Pauline Gray. She moved to Des Moines after college, where she met her husband, Al Moran. They lived in the Beaverdale area for decades. Ethel worked as an LPN for many years and enjoyed playing duplicate bridge, cribbage and reading. Ethel is survived by her daughters, Dee (Bob) Snyder and Marie (Tom) Woehlke; five grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; nine great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews and their families. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and three sisters, Mary (Bus) Schneider, Dorothy (Kernwood) Brown and Alice (Earl) Masten.
