Ethel Alice Collins died on February 18, 2017 at 90 years of age. She was predeceased by Ray Collins her loving husband for 53 years. Ethel was born on June 9, 1926 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Harry and Emma Scholl. Ethel was the mother of Dennis Collins (Argyro) and Candy Collins Welch (Shelley), grandmother to Thomas, Laura, and Helen, and great grandmother to Parker and William. She loved bingo and helping people. Ethel often said that her goal was to help at least one person, even if in a small way, every day. Ethel was a Bowie, Maryland resident for 50 years and an active member of the Church of The Redeemer. She will be inurned with her husband at Arlington National Cemetery at 9:00am on May 31, 2017. A reception will follow at 11:am at Texas Jack's Barbecue in Arlington. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Church of The Redeemer at 7300 Race Track Road, Bowie, MD, 20715
