ESTHER A. OTTO, 86 BAILEYVILLE - Esther A. Otto, 86, of Baileyville, died Wednesday, August 7, 2013, at Rockford Memorial Hospital. Esther was born on September 29, 1926, in Stephenson County, Illinois; the daughter of Karl and Edna (Rote) Kneller. On October 4, 1953, Esther married Leonard Otto in Freeport. He died August 6, 2013. Esther and her husband worked and owned the family farm near the Baileyville area. Esther was a member of Silver Creek Home Extension and the Silver Creek Museum. Esther is survived by her two sisters, Delores Rackow of Freeport and Joyce Flannery of Orangeville; three grandchildren, Tracy Otto, Clayton Otto and Staci Otto; four great-grandchildren, Kadeisha Otto, Jasemine Tillman, Trevon Tillman and Angel Newton; one great-great-granddaughter, Ja'Lycea Lutz. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Esther was preceded in death by her parents; husband; three brothers; and her son, Brian Otto who died October 5, 2005. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, August 13, at Burke Tubbs Funeral Home in Freeport, Rev. Stephen Precht, Pastor of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church will officiate. Visitation will be Monday from 3 until 7 p.m. at Burke Tubbs, Freeport. Burial will be at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. A memorial has been established in Esther's memory.
