Esther Daniels, a beloved resident of Augusta, Georgia, passed away on October 4, 2024, at the age of 97. Born on September 7, 1927 in Lincolnton, Georgia, Esther lived a life filled with love, laughter, and faith. She was known as Mama, Granny or Miss Esther to those that loved her and she was a strong woman who raised 5 wonderful children that adored her. No matter how hard life was she never lost her love for Jesus or her unique ability to find the laughter in everyday life. She had many silly sayings, a few made up jokes and was always up for a game or puzzle with her children or grandchildren. She was at her happiest surrounded by people and she cherished all the birthday cards she received over the years from her many loved ones keeping them to look back over again and again as she thought fondly of each person that she got them from. Whenever one of us would leave after a visit she would always say in her typical silly fashion, "I'm glad you got to see me" and we are dear Granny, so glad that we got to see you.
