Esau Brooks, 75, of Beggs Oklahoma, passed Thursday, October 12, 2017. Esau was born to Enid Brooks, and Marie Wells, April 24, 1942, in Beggs, Oklahoma.
Esau graduated from Booker T. Washington High School in 1961. He was married to Gloria Brooks for 25 years, and they lived together in Beggs. Together, they lived a happy life raising their children together. He enjoyed watching football and taking his family to NFL games occasionally. He also loved to work on cars, which is why he traveled frequently.
Esau worked at Oklahoma Natural Gas until he retired in 2008.
Esau is survived by 3 children: Mark Brooks, David Brooks (Dewanna Brooks), and Stefanie Brooks-King (Andre King). He also is survived by 7 grandchildren.
