Ernest "Ernie" Woods, 85, passed away on Tuesday, March 21, 2023. Ernest was born on June 17, 1937 to the union of William and Elizabeth Woods from Batesville, Mississippi. Both preceded him in death.

Ernest passed away peacefully at home, still praising God until the end.

He leaves to cherish his memory his sons Charles Woods, Phillip Woods; daughters, Rhonda McGlossan, Debora Person; grandchildren, Latrice Tatum, Jessica Woods, Richard Woods, Stephanie McGlossan, Timothy McGlossan, Kosha Byrd, Lakeita Byrd, Jamie Miller and Nicole Miller, 11 great grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
