Mrs. Erma Marchman, 96, formerly of Twin Fountains passed away on Monday at West Georgia Hospice.

Mrs. Erma Lee Green Marchman was born on December 28, 1919 the daughter of the late Cato Benjamin and Lula Grier Green.

She was the oldest member of The Louise UM Church and was an original member of the "Old Ship of Zion" Singing Group.

Mrs. Erma was married to the late Steve Marchman, Sr.

Survivors include three daughter; Bertha M. Broughton and Yvonne M.(James) Parker of Lagrange and Annie B. Mitchell of Nashville, TN., two sons; Robert Lee Marchman, Sr. of Lagrange and Rev. Timothy J. (Teresa) Marchman of Chicago, IL., one brother Oliver N.(Annie Lucille)Greene of Lagrange and one sister, Olivia G. Ewing of Dayton, OH.

She is preceded in death in addition to her parents by three sons; Steve Jr., Eddie B., and Lazarus Marchman.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, 2pm at Louise UM Church with the Rev. John Tompkins presiding and the Rev. Jairo Gay officiating,

The interment will be in Beasley Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the home of her daughter Bertha Broughton , 255 Hammett Rd.

This service has been entrusted to Mackey-Wilson-Jennings Funeral Home.
