Erika Lynn Weems, born on February 27, 1988, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, passed away on April 4, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born to Ronnie Weems and Sandra Williamson. Erika is also survived by children Alita Cutchall, Selena Cutchall, Jayden Weems; siblings Karla Weems, Margaret McCray, Elias Fritz, Matthew Weems, Pacience Weems, and beloved aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Erika possessed a delightful sense of humor, finding joy in the simplest of things. In her childhood, she would giggle at the silliest jokes and loved to play pranks. But it was in spontaneous singing that she truly found her joy . Whether it was belting out her favorite tunes for all to hear or humming softly to herself, music became the soundtrack that helped soothe her soul.

Her passing leaves a void that cannot be filled, but her memory will live on in the hearts of those she touched. She will be dearly missed and forever cherished.
