Erik Alva Packheiser, 5, passed on February 15, 2022 in Greensboro, North Carolina.

Erik was born to Marcus Joseph Packheiser and Lily Ann Yount in Olympia Fields, Illinois on April 20, 2016.

From the very day Erik was born he was a Special child, with a smile that could melt your heart and a laugh that filled a room to the brim. Erik had an ability to make any place feel energized and electrified. Erik loved to spend time with his god father and learn anything he could about dinosaurs. Erik lived each day with a vigor that could not be satisfied. Erik's life was filled with joy and adventure whether it be road trips with his god father or days spent at the park with his father, Erik was the happiest child you could find.

Erik will be forever remembered by his grandparents Larry and Beatrice Packheiser and the rest of the packheiser clan.
