We are saddened to announce the passing of Eric Hinnant, born on December 22, 1954, in Elm City, North Carolina, United States. Eric peacefully left us on August 14, 2024, surrounded by his loving family.

Eric was the beloved son of Bobby and Ann Hinnant and the devoted father of Vanessa Bryant, Amanda Barrett (spouse Todd), and Erica Hinnant Mustard (spouse Rich). He also leaves behind six adoring grandchildren.

Eric was known for his skilled work as a welder and his passion for fishing. He had a knack for fixing just about anything and always lent a helping hand to anyone in need. His infectious laughter and warm presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Although we are heartbroken by his departure, we take comfort in knowing that Eric is now at peace and reunited with his loved ones who passed before him.

In honor of Eric's memory, let us cherish the moments we shared with him and continue to spread love and kindness in his honor.
