Eric MartinMay 13, 1972 - October 29, 2017ChambersburgEric Zane Martin, 45, passed away October 29, 2017. He was born on May 13, 1972 in Waynesboro to Elgin and Patricia (Dailey) Martin. He worked for M&M Welding & Fabrication in Gaithersburg, MD and had worked for Frick Co. for seventeen years prior to that. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and the outdoors. He was a lifetime member of the NRA, a member of the Lonestar Hunting Club, the Chambersburg Rod and Gun Club. He served on the board of the Lonestar Hunting Club. His greatest love was his children and his family. He was a 1991 graduate of James Buchanon High School.He is survived by his wife, Penny Sue Barges Martin; and his five children, Hailey (wife of Noah) Miller of Waynesboro, Karley and Alley Martin of Chambersburg, Christopher and Brooke Strohm, both of Chambersburg. He is also survived by his mother, Patricia Dailey (wife of David) Kint of Norfolk, VA; and his father, Elgin Zane Martin Jr. of Needmore. He is also survived by a step-sister, Myranda Martin of Needmore; and his grandmother, Caroline Martin of Greencastle. He has numerous aunts; uncles; and cousins.Funeral service will be Friday at 2 PM at the Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home, 6492 L. W.W., St. Thomas, with the Rev. Harold Yeager officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 7 to 9 PM and one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Stenger Hill Cemetery, Ft. Loudon.
