Born on January 1, 1991, in Brooklyn, New York, Eric's life may have been brief, but it was certainly eventful, albeit in a somewhat comical manner.Eric was the beloved son of Jarrod and Michelle Hering, who were brave enough to navigate the turbulent waters of parenthood despite Eric's penchant for accidental mischief. Though they never admitted it, Eric's parents often wondered if it was possible for a child to be born with two left feet and butterfingers. Nevertheless, they loved him unconditionally, regardless of the broken vases and shattered dreams he left in his wake.Eric was a beloved brother of Crystal fisher Janee Brown Patrice Peele Iyanna Vinson Corey Peele & Malik Vinson they’ve shared many moments with him and are forced to handle this tragedy as they walk in faith beside their parents we uplift their young souls Brianna, Eric's partner, somehow managed to see beyond his clumsiness and unrelenting enthusiasm for recreational disasters. Throughout their chaotic journey together, Brianna remained a pillar of support, teaching Eric that laughter truly is the best medicine, especially when faced with another one of his botched attempts at DIY projects.Eric and Brianna were blessed with a child named Peyton, who inherited their collective passion for stumbling their way through life. Peyton's proficiency in finding mischief at the most unexpected times was a constant reminder of Eric's legacy, leaving us all in awe of the hilarity that genes can bestow.In his academic journey, Eric studied at Medgar Evers College PREPARATORY high school, where he was undoubtedly the highlight of his teachers' day. Graduating in 2012, Eric left an indelible mark on his classmates' memories, as they laughed together through lectures and assignments that managed to trigger calamity in the most mundane of situations.Eric's professional career as a security officer showcased his unwavering dedication to keeping others safe, even if his own safety was often called into question. Frequently stumbling over his own feet while chasing imaginary foes, he never failed to entertain and bring a smile to the faces of those with whom he crossed paths.And so, it is with a mixture of profound amusement and tender amusement that we bid farewell to Eric Hering, who departed this world on August 22, 2023, due to a fatal shooting. Though tragedy befell him in an unforeseen manner, we take solace in the fact that Eric probably managed to turn the situation into an unforgettable anecdote, even in his final moments.Eric, may you shuffle through the pearly gates with the same level of grace you exhibited during your time on Earth.
