Eric, born on May 30, 1972, in Cebu City, Visayas, Philippines was a devoted and loving father to his two children, Aegean and Jazzy. He was a patient, hardworking, and dedicated parent, who would always put his family's needs before his own.
Eric attended Basak High School, graduating in 1988. Having grown in poverty, he entered the work force at a young age to help support his mother. He worked as a taxi driver for most of his life. He would leave early in the morning for work and return late at night, just so he could provide his own family a roof to live under and food on the table. He wasn't a man of many words, but his actions, quiet sacrifices, and work reflected his deep love and devotion to his family.
One of Eric's greatest passion was working on cars and driving. He didn't speak much of it, but he loved working on cars and learning about mechanics. It was his way of unwinding and relaxing. He was known for being handy, and was always ready to lend a hand to anyone in need. His kindness and willingness to help left a lasting impression on people who knew him.
Sadly, Eric's life was tragically cut short by an earthquake that struck the island of Cebu on September 30, 2025. Funeral and burial services were held on October 12, 2025, at Queen City Memorial, Cebu City, where he was laid to rest by his family and friends who gathered to honor his memory. His warmth presence will be deeply missed by all those who knew him.
