Enos C. EberlyJuly 23, 1932 - April 6, 2017DallastownEnos C. Eberly, 84, passed away Thursday, April 6 at the York Hospital. He was the husband of Irene (Innerst) Eberly. Following cremation, a memorial service to honor Enos's life will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 29 at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 839 W. Market St., York, 17401.Mr. Eberly was born on July 23, 1932 in Dallastown and was the only child of the late Enos J. and Nettie (Shearer) Eberly. Enos was a graduate of Dallastown High School and Gettysburg College. He worked for the Farmers and Merchants Bank, Allis-Chalmers, and Dauphin Deposit Bank. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, taught Sunday school and played in the church orchestra for many years. He also volunteered for the Historical Society in York. His greatest joy came from spending time with his family. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his two sons, Stephen L. Eberly of Devon, and Barry R. Eberly and his wife, Pam, of Dallastown; three granddaughters, Alisha Good and her husband, Pat, Jocelyn Myers and her husband, Jarrod, and Shannon Berwager and her husband, Jason. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; and a large group of friends. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Matthew Lutheran Church.The Austin H.
