Emmette Tate, born on September 26, 1954, in Holly Springs, Mississippi, United States, passed away on June 7, 2024. He was the beloved child of Ira Lewis Crain and Marie Tate Crain.

Emmette attended Holly Springs High School and graduated in 1973. He furthered his education at M I College, graduating in 1977. Emmette worked as a store clerk and also served in the Army.

Although Emmette did not have any children of his own, he touched the lives of many with his kind and generous nature. He had a passion for listening to music and arts and crafts, which brought him immense joy and fulfillment.

Emmette will be dearly missed by his family, friends, and all those who had the pleasure of knowing him. May he rest in peace.
