On January 1st, 2026, the world lost a truly unique soul. Emanuela Francois, also known as "Manu," departed this life surrounded by loved ones (although, to be honest, most of them were just there for the snacks).

Manu was born on September 15th, 1996, in Port au Prince, Ouest, Haiti. She was a graduate of Lycee jeune fille High School, where she spent most of her time trying to avoid getting caught sneaking snacks into class. Despite her best efforts, she somehow managed to graduate in 2020 with a degree in procrastination (and maybe a few other subjects).

Throughout her life, Manu was known for her sharp wit and infectious laugh. She had a knack for finding humor in even the most mundane of situations - like that one time she tripped over her own feet and somehow managed to make it look like a dance move.

Unfortunately, Manu's life was cut short by gun shot wounds, which just goes to show that even the brightest stars can be taken from us too soon. While she may no longer be with us, her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her (and those who were lucky enough to steal a snack or two from her stash).

Rest in peace, Manu. We hope you're enjoying all the snacks you could ever want up there in snack heaven.
