Elva Delarosa was born on February 27, 1967 and was peacefully taken on July 10, 2025 due to Colon Cancer.

Her Life

Elva was born on February 27,1967 in Rio Bravo, Mexico. Daughter of Mario Tavares & Tania Tavares. Throughout her life she enjoyed playing volleyball and being with her family. She enjoyed cookouts and walks on the park with her dog. After graduating high school she wanted to work immediately as she wanted to help her family out with bills.

In 1984, Elva married the love of her life Jose Delarosa. They got married in Natalie, Texas and bought a farm, they moved back to Laredo as they were helping the St. Judes Church of Laredo, Texas. While living in Laredo they decided to have 5 children of their own 4 boys and 1 girl. Elva would always put hear family first than his own life, making sure his kids were fed and clothed with a roof on their heads.

Elva is survived by her sisters; Rosa Garza Brothers; Nacho Delarosa, Chuy Delarosa, David Delarosa, Raul Delarosa. Daughter; Johanna Delarosa. Sons; Jose Albert Delarosa, David Bryan Delarosa, Eric Ivan Tavares & Xavier Alejandro Delarosa. Grandson; Mateo Eric Delarosa (Son of Xavier). Grand Daughter; Bryanna Delarosa (Son of Jose Alberto Delarosa).

Services

There will be a private graveside service for immediate family members and friends at the Panteon Frances Located at Buenos Aires, Mexico City, Mexico on July 18, 2025. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be sent in his name to the Capital City of Baptist Church, Cuidad De Mexico, Mexico.
