Elsie Louise Jones (McCallister), 69, passed on October 17, 2022. She was born to Thomas Edward McCallister and Sara Jane Markham on December 14, 1952 in Charleston, West Virginia.

She raised 2 children Brian I. Rocha (Latoya Rocha), and Shane E. Rocha. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren, Kenori Fenner-Rocha, Ryleigh Rocha, Sophie Rocha and Vinson Rocha.

Elsie was spunky and full of life, she had no problems telling it like it is. At the same time, she also had a huge heart and would help anyone she could. She loved birds, especially cockatiels, (which she had several over the course of her life). Tweety Bird the cartoon was her absolute favorite. Elsie really enjoyed fishing when she was able to. She also had an affinity for the Eiffel Tower which is shared by her oldest Grand-daughter Ryleigh Rocha. Although disabled she did the best to give her sons the best life she knew how to. Elsie was loved by all, including a large extended family from her marriage to our Step Father Raymond jones. Although divorced, they stayed friends and in contact until she passed.

Elsie served her country as a Nurse in the United States Air Force.

She was preceded in death by her parents Thomas McCallister and Sarah Markham, and her sister Betty Woods. She is survived by her Brother Charles Mcallister, Sisters Judy Mcallister and Shirley Swart, Sons Brian and Shane Rocha, and 4 Grandchildren, Kenori, Rylegh, Sophie and Vinson.

In Lieu of a Traditional Funeral, we will have a Memorial Service and Dinner to Honor her life. Time and Date TBA.
