Elnora Louise Chandler94, of Indianapolis, passed away on April 15, 2017. She was born on August 9, 1922 in Seymour, Indiana. Elnora was married to the late Robert Chandler. She retired in 1982, working at AT&T (previously Western Electric) in telephone manufacturing, for 30 years. Elnora was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Telephone Pioneers and the Red Hat Society.Elnora is survived by her daughters Jo Ann (David) Sowder and Rose Mary (Thomas) Click; five grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; four step grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in passing by her son Robert Lee Chandler, husband, parents, six brothers and three sisters.Services for Elnora will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at Singleton Community Mortuary and Memorial Center. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service at the mortuary. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens Cemetery.Memorial gifts have been suggested to St. John's United Church of Christ in Southport.
